Calendar Tips and Tricks Samsung Galaxy S II

If you have a problem with duplicate birthdays or other erroneous data cached in the calendar and widgets data this will help remove the desired info and allow the calendar to get re synchronized from Google Calendar. The phone used in this video is the Sprint Samsung Galaxy SII (aka Epic 4g Touch) but should work with all variations made by Verizon, AT&T, a T-Mobile because it is a feature of the TouchWiz interface. Rooting phone not necessary!

Horrible video... There's no problem with the facebook aplications if you dont sync anything... If you press "yes" when they ask you something like "would to like syncronizing contacts and calendr from facebook to your phone?", then something happends.. An you can use facebook on the browser, but then there's no chat option..

Learn to use your phone befor making a video please..!

@JouqKteq The Facebook app definitely creates duplicate entries (when the contacts are synced) and leaves them even after the app is removed/deleted. If this is not your situation then move along quietly troll. I am quite experienced with this phone!! This video is for those who had the Facebook app installed and synced and now don't, it is not a dig against Facebook (which you apparently feel the need to defend) or their app. It is simply a remedy to an annoying problem.

Another problem that I have is that everytime I add a contact with a birthday, a reminder is added to the calendar. Do you know how to avoid this? I use a separate app for tracking birthdays and I don't want them to clog my calendar.

@Boru318 Sorry but I don't know of a way to shut off the automatic of adding birthdays from the contacts!

I loved it until the point it stopped making calls. AT&T was cool and gave me a new one and so far its working great!
