Hi. I'm Kienya. I'm 13 years old, and I live at the South Pole.

Gran-Gran has agreed to let her Waterbending student, Jillian, escort us to the Fire Nation this year. It's the first time we've been on our own so far away from home. I'm so excited I can hardly stand still!

I love to tease my big sister Yasora. Good thing I'm too fast for her to catch! You see, I'm an Airbender. I ride the currents of the wind, just like my grandpa, Aang.

More than anything, I want to make Grandpa proud of me. I miss him so...
