This seems to be a growing trend among Hollywood-types who find their once bright stars starting to fade into obscurity. Whatever happened to Voight? I predict we're eventually going to find out he's been battling Alzheimers--there seems to be a pattern of former liberals becoming kooky conservatives (think Ronald Reagan, Charlton Heston) once those beta-amyloid plaques reach critical mass. Such a tragic end for the formerly brilliant star of Midnight Cowboy, Deliverance, and Coming Home. Let's hope Angelina doesn't follow his pattern.

George Clooney's last three movies did not pull 100 mil in total box office, I suppose we should see him at a tea party soon huh?

Do I dare mention "Stuart Saves His Family", Al Frankens ONLY movie, that failed to pull even 1 mil total box office?

What is always the case is they try to deconstruct the person, not the ideas. And in this case you make a fool of yourself because John Voight has been in just about every HUGE summer box office movie the last ten years.

One word comes to mid... DUH!

If you are not going to say he is wrong, and try to prove that, and you are trying to say he is desperate, you have to at least prove THAT!

You couldn't be more right, I mean National Treasure was a flop, er, wait no it is hugely successful franchise summer movie. well ok, that's obviously a fluke, its not like he gets roles in REALLY big movies like the hugely successful simmer franchise, "Transformers", oh crap he was in that too. ok so he got lucky a few times lately, mercy roles for the old guy, Its not like he is a fixture in top box office movies Pearl Harbor and Mission Impossible.
