This is an attempt to describe acceleration (particularly uniform acceleration) in Einsteins relativity. Only special relativity will be used, but some phenomena associated with general relativity will be found. Check
http://www.phys.unsw.edu.au/einsteinlight/
for a basic intro to relativity. This is also partially a response to mooeypoo's Astronomy Simplified (#1): Basics of Time and Distance, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toTm9BrvHeo
, so check that out!

In the first episode, I go through the definitions of velocity and acceleration and describes Galilean relativity and the fundamental assumptions of Einsteins relativity.

  • his voice is fine. it's probably his accent that throws you off. I don't know why some people are compelled to say something negative about people in particular, rather than their subject matter. that, after all is the reason we watch these types of videos, isn't it? or is it to simply criticize some one's looks, or dress, or whatever. btw volintine, not a very good sentance. you should ask the speaker how to use proper english to construct a "good" sentance.

  • not a good voice
