Just wondering but judging by the look on Maria's face, did Pyramid Head rape her before killing her? The reason I'm asking is because if someone stabbed you in the back or through the spinal cord (which I'm assuming was the case since we didn't hear her scream and there were no visible wounds), would you have had an expression of pain or surprise?

To be honest - thats a very good interpretation.

After Maria was killed a second time having bruises on her face and other places

it does look like a rape case.

I'm pretty sure it would only take one shotgun shell to kill me. Maybe Eddie absorbs the bullets with his massive blubber. Too bad you can't T-bag Eddie like in First Person Shooters.

@Wiseman108 Yep. That's what I love about Silent Hill. Each character harbors a secret, which the town uses to turn into their own living hell. Symbolism isn't used too much in horror games now, which I guess is why Dead Space and Condemned 2 never really pushed my buttons. Too much of a focus on cheap scares and blood.

@MateenK Yeah... I was just wondering since this game does seem to have a fair amount of rape cases in it, so it made sense. Sheesh, I would hate to be a character in these games...
