June 6, 1944, D-Day as it was known, was the largest coalition invasion ever. Over a quarter-million allied troops from the United States, the UK (England) and Canada took on nasty weather, supply and deployment mishaps, and a fierce German resistance on the beachheads of Normandy. On the 66th Anniversary of this historic battle, we honor those who gave their all, who sacrificed for our freedoms, and liberated France from Nazi Germany's five year long occupation. Vocals by BM 1-st Class Victor Marchese - US Navy (1938-1945).
