There are 3 commonly used recipes and this is just one of them. This is one of the more classy (ie complicated) ones you would find at a fancy (ie expensive) cocktail bar.

And it is pronounced "Lewisville" everywhere outside of Louisville KY. Only people in Kentucky say "law ah vahl" like they have a dog turd in their mouth.
