This is a vary "rare" video of a very young Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner (aka Sting) performing Moon over Bourbon Street (MOBS) live and acoustic in a pedestrian subway in England in 1985. It brought back memories of the album, so I thought to myself why not have a competition for your Friends just for a little bit of fun. So here's the deal: I will post the album 'Dream of the Blue Turtles' by Sting - one of his best solo albums imho (CD - brand new and unopened) to the first person who can name the 'mysterious' famous person in the video who is walking down the subway toward Sting? Now; if you're an early Sting fan there's a fairly good chance you might remember this performance, as I did right away when I stumbled across it by pure luck.

Competition has ended. We have a winner !!!

PS: And before you ask ... NO this is not a ploy to get hits. It's a friendly cd competition. Truth is; it's a really brilliant CD if you have never heard it before and I thought it would be fun to give a copy away. It's not costing much so no big deal. I repeat; this competition is just a harmless bit of fun :o)))))

  • @pjstns Yes it was a great find. I knew exactly what it was cause I remembered it when it first appeared on British TV. Channel 4 to be precise (that's a hint). Great song and great performance. No special effects just Sting and a guitar and a subway. Talented guy.
