wow already i7 is at a 980x series. Hey the way i look at it the more they release the cheaper the earlier ones get.
6 Cores man would increase your FPS with your GPU, you wouldn't get such a big bottleneck because of just 4 cores. Also 6 cores would help out like crazy on the 3D rendering side as well as programing and maybe vista would work lol.
To tell the truth in order to catch up to the GPUs we need at least 10 cores. By that time GPUs would be far faster.

s16non if this is truly your 1st build, then i would like to present to you the fucking genius of the year award for using kick ass stable parts. You have no idea how many 1st builds i have seen and laughed my ass off. But yours by far is the best.

Yeah man no problem, everyone should know whether or not they made a good build, because some times you think its cool as shit because you're comparing it to some brand name you used to have. But this one is a solid build. I'm not ready to move to the i cores yet. Still waiting for more chips to fall under the 1136 chip set you know. Like how 775 has so many. Also want to wait for the i9, 6 cores man thats going to be crazy.

hopefully the regular editions come out by the end of the year.. But who needs 6 cores haha..
