Wow! I'm surprised you trust yourself on that overpass!

sweet, shitty weather makes for a perfect train video, and I know exactly where it is.

Nice video man those PL's are ugly

CSX West Shore picked up most of the heavy traffic between NYC area and upstate. Conrail ran big freights between Buffalo and Oak Island in the 90's. Sometimes freights would blast thru Ridgewood during a.m. rush.

The ERIE didn't really go into the Catskills, it stayed along the Deleware river to Binghamtom pretty much. The NYO&W went through the Catskills

Nice video -- I live down the line in Northern Bergen Cty. I wonder if the Grahm Cutoff was originally double-tracked. I used to see more freight traffic on this line. I'm not sure if NS is getting much business on the Southern Tier.

NS has a total of 4 trains that work the southern tier east of binghamton. They leased the line from port jervis to binghamton to the NYS&W and sold the line from port jervis to suffern to metro north. They have 1 turn job based out of croxton that goes to campbell hall and back, 1 local out of suffern and 2 locals in campbell hall
