The first time I saw them -- or even heard of them was at Six Flags over Georgia. They opened for Charlie Daniels. Their first album hadn't even been released. They came out rocking and never stopped. My first stop the next morning was to the record store to tell the manager to be sure to order their album

@bluegrassman776 I think Hughie died in his sleep apprently due to a heart attack. As we all know these guys partied it up and drank excessively. His liver can't take that much abuse and high blood pressure and heart problems even made things worst since they did not eat properly and probably ate mostly foods that were full of cholesterol, fat and artery clogging meats. Also they lacked exercise and most likely smoked excessively.
