Xeiso at revision 45 running in a VirtualBox session from an ISO built with xeiso-cd. Everything displayed in the xVM environment is subject to change.
The ISO environment is built with xeiso-cd (http://xeiso.com/dev/cd/). A base Ubuntu debootstrap is downloaded, and then the necessary Xeiso packages are installed. The chroot is then compressed into a squashfs image and then packed into an ISO, similar to how Ubuntu's Live CDs are made. The entire process takes about 1.5 hours with some user intervention required in between, but soon it will be fully automated.
The environment itself is running a customized Openbox session under a standard Xorg. Graphics acceleration has not yet been tested, as VirtualBox is unable to emulate a true graphics card.
