  • Excellent report, really sums up what happened on the day in a fair and balanced way.

Yesterday (friday) the Vice Chancellor finally agreed to enter into negotiations with representatives from the occupation and the student executive on Monday. He has obviously seen how commited students are to this cause and just how quickly students can mobilise in large numbers. Even if you don't agree with the politics over Palestine, I think everyone can admit that this is a victory for student activism.

  • @0e0l7i

    "real human rights discrimination" ??

have you been to gaza? well i live here. dont compare us to nazi germany, and stop yelling out antisemitism, we are not against jews as people, just the actions of the israeli military.. we are all humans, regardless of race or religion, and we deserve our right to live

  • @marzutrall this is not about land... this is about basic human rights

  • I honour all the brave activists who boarded the Gaza flotilla and I especially honour the memory of those who lost their lives trying to bring humanitarian aid to the people are experiencing one of the worst human rights situations in the world today. The Israeli blockade of Gaza and general brutal occupation of the Palestinian in their legally recognized land is, by the most fundamental standards of international law, completely illegal and morally indefensible.

  • And to think, at cardiff university people are ficked out for running over bushes with trolleys.
