Early in the morning I get up from the camping outside the ancient city of Ouadane, where I have stayed the night, to explore this old desert town. It was founded in 1147 at was during many years an important trading post on the caravan route through the Sahara, and well known for its many Islamic scholars.
Shot with a Fujifilm Finepix F11.
It would surely be nice to visit Ouadane again, and to see some more of the desert surrounding this small town. Who knows, maybe I'll have the possibility some time.
