Hello, well what you said is true. I didn't see Tim Burton's version of dark shadows and am glad I didn't. When they played the trailer for it, I knew it would be horrible, I like Tim Burton and Johnny Depp but not this time. To me, the original Dark Shadows should never be touched by anyone, I don't care who they are and what they claim they can do, if it's not broke, don't fix it. That's how anything classic should be looked at.

Really horrible trailer. I find that trailers which use music not featured in the film are often extremely misleading. In this case, it's the worst presentation ever, because whoever put this together not once was able to capture the film's mood at all or its poignancy, and they had so much good material to work with. They made all the material look worse than it does in the film. It's a bad trailer.

i just finished the book and really didn't enjoy it :/ found the style of writing too cryptic and boring. film looks ok tho might give it a go..
