  • how do you come about making up a bass line ? or what is your way of making up a bass line ? thanx.

  • @yonatanyoni83 well if you're writing a line for an incomplete song, then it is fairly simple - whatever suits the song. As for starting from scratch - it's all about the sound and overall feel that the bassline will have with the rest of the song - a good starting point is genre, tempo, time signature (remember that the most effective basslines are usually the easiest to play)
