We have to get over the weak dependent attitude that presidents provide change for us. We make them act with pressure. We had trouble doing that with Cheney... who will be easier to affect? McCain? Obama? I think the answer is clear. And our job will be difficult. I am so glad to have Rachel Maddow... because INFORMATION is our POWER. Now can we get Olbermann to help fire Joe Scarbully?

Amen. Obama has repeatedly shown terrible judgement, and I notice that he is backing away from the only views that I (a libertarian) shared with the Dems. He might keep us in Iraq, he now supports the grossly unconstitutional faith-based initiatives and he wants to let everyone off the hook for illegal wiretapping. What good is a Democrat who sucks up to the crazy Evangelicals, won't protect privacy and is pro-war? See the current Senate Democrats for your answer: worse than worthless.

the problem is not that obama is moving to the right, the problem is that he painted himself "above politics." obama is a far inferior candidate for the JOB of president than Clinton, and anyone who thought obama is "above politics" is a stupid irresponsible fool.
