大友良英＋高嶺格＋多数のミュージシャン

大友良英と高嶺格（現代美術家）とのコラボレーションによるインスタレーション。スタジオの天井には、回収した500点以上の様々な廃材やオブジェ、70個の多種多様なス­ピーカーを空中に吊りこんでいます。会場の中央には、照明を鏡で反射させる装置5基が置かれ、複数の光線が空間を飛び交います。この光線と音がプログラムによって連動しま­すが、ランダムに決定される要素も含んでいます。地下の奈落は、多数の廃材や楽器によって迷路が作られ、時折多数の廃ギターどうしによるフィードバックの轟音を発します。­総計100名以上の多ジャンルのプロミュージシャンから、地元のアマチュア演奏家までが音源を提供、指示スコアによる即興演奏音源を収録し、素材として使用しています。

Otomo Yoshihide＋Tadasu Takamine + many musicians

This exhibit is an installation created in collaboration between Otomo Yoshihide and contemporary artist Tadasu Takamine. From the ceiling of the studio hang more than 500 collected waste wood pieces and objects of all kinds and 70 of various speakers. Placed in the center are 5 pieces of equipment that reflect lighting with mirrors, and the light beams fly about in the space. The beams and sounds are linked by the program, yet some factors are decided at random as well. There is a labyrinth made up by many pieces of waste wood and discarded music instruments in the pit of the basement, and many disposed guitars give roaring feedback sounds at times. A total of more than 100 people ranging from professional musicians of different genres to local amateur players participated in providing the sound source, and their improvised performances following the scores given in advance were recorded. They are used as the sound materials.
