Actually.... in the end I DID forget the markings on the blue fabric and sleeves' ends (not like I knew how these ones actually looked).....................

Ran Yakumo, Yukari's Shikigami, owns a Shikigami named Chen...
Drawn entirely in MSPaint, using tablet for sketch + lineart, mouse (bezier + freehand) for colouring and shading.
It's quite weird how each of my MSPaint drawing is bigger that the previous one. Someday I may end up with a 5000x5000px piece! Hahahaha.

I actually intended to draw something non-Touhou, but ALL I wanted to draw at the moment was Ran.
I really like to draw her and she's my third favourite character. But I hate her tails. They're ok to sketch, but if You want to make a finished drawing in MSPaint.... ugh...
Her Scarlet Weather Rhapsody sprites are so cute. It's a shame she and Chen only appear for these few seconds of their spellcards. I hope in 12.3 they'll get some more screen time as assists (like Kanako and Suwako for Sanae. But we still don't know how that works...).

I prefer to have a sketch first. That way I actually see what am I doing and it won't require so much fixing once the lineart's done.

Guess we all have different techniques as for drawing ;D Some people start with heads, some with feet and it's okay.

I played Tohou since december of 2008. japanesse demo for eosd but I didn't know anything (I just knew Flandre, Remilia and Sakuya ^^')

So when I saw RumiaI tought she was Alice D:

As a fellow MS paint artist, I learned alot from you on how to draw well with it! XD For me, I just started out with just one solid outline and then coloured from there....this way, it seems easier to get the look you want, and it looks much better! <3 Thanks for teaching me some tips and tricks! /lame XD LOL thanks! :D

I knew Touhou since forever, but I never played it or was greatly interested in it until few months ago (and I always thought Marisa's name was Alice which is... weird.)
