The UpTake's Suzanne Arrested

The UpTake's volunteer coordinator Suzanne was shooting video of a police-protester confrontation when she got caught up in the melée and was arrested. The UpTake is working to find out more information and get her released, but it has proven difficult.

honestly, this was an amazing show of what happens when people try to speak against the goverment. 99% of the protesters today were PEACEFUL and we were able to keep everyone else in chech, this just shows thats no one is safe when the police are given the right to arrest if your in an "area"

@anorexiconos it was worse for my generation back then police would just beat a person to death for protesting vietnam ,,humen rights we had know chance in the courts and then kent state happen and the whole world saw for themselves how police were violating peoples rights but now its much worse now you have the sons of those police back then as police today with much greater power over the people .the evil was passed down to this generation of police and i salute the protesters of today

something that seems obvious to me is that riot police do not mess around

they will ask you to do something once,maybe twice and if you refuse to, they will put you under arrest...its very simple

dont fuck with the riot police...its that simple...unless you have a very good reason like the Founding Fathers did...go look up the history of the Declartion of Independance and the 1776 war for independance,it will enlighten you as to reasons for civil disobedience....

I wish that people in America would stop being so blind and biased

the police are there to protect you and keep order...yes there are instances where they go over the line but they protect our freedoms and liberties as a whole

as far as I can tell,our police have actually shown the most restraint and respect even in instances like this where there are large scale protests and riots where people are deliberately trying to provoke the police
