$4000's more than they cost new so i wouldn't buy that. engl invader on the other hand is 4000ish new and the footswitch/z9 is another 400. the thing is, engl's used retain higher demind and therefore price used as where a cobra used can be had for as low as a grand and in great shape.

@westsd4lyphe they are $3200 new. you can get them on ebay for $1000 to $1400. i have seen many as i'm looking to buy one/trade for one at some point and have been for a year now. the average used price is $1200. I saw one go just yesterday in fact for $900. the guy was no doubt unhappy with that one.Ebay will be mostly 1400 right now but, they come thru daily in my email and i always see one or two in the 1000-1200 range.

Sounds badass, doesn't sound like usual EL34 tone to me though.

I'll still take a VHT (Fryette) over any other amp. Nothing beats the headroom of those KT-88 tubes.

yeah the Invader costs 2 grand used just for the top. The Cobra regularly goes for $1,100-1,400 used just for the top. I vote Cobra though this vid SUX for this amp. I'd still love an Invader too. I have used the Cobra though and that's one of if not THE best metal amps imo. has a great chimey to glassy clean too.
