Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Udham Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Ashfaqulla Khan, Veer Savarkar.

Great names, great patriots, great souls with one single thought to see their motherland 'India' free and united.
The turmoil, pain, tears, sacrifices, bloodshed which they have experienced physically, mentally and emotionally in getting India independent is something which is immortalized in the annals of Indian history.

Times have changed.
Today, these patriots are no more.
Not only India but the whole world is engulfed in violence, corruption and nuclear turmoil. It is because of these and many more reasons that these patriots even up there in Gods heavenly abode have their souls restless, wanting not only their country but even the world to break away from all the shackles and move towards the path of peace,
non violence, unity and progress.
But not seeing all this happening, their eyes are filled with tears and hands plead to the world citizens to stay united in peace.
We, as citizens of the world should assure all children that they will grow up to hike in the mountains, run in the fields of flowers and have a chance to grow up to live a life of peace and love.
Long live Peace, Unity and humanity.

  • Margriet, there was an great woman who has contributed significantly in India's independence her name was Margriet Nobel, popularly known as Bhagini Nibedita .. a disciple of Swami Vivekananda who later left Rama Krishna Mission (better driven) to contribute to Indian freedom fighting. You can make a google search to know more about her if you are interested.

  • Humayunn - You simply doing great. You know one needs plenty of patience to create such videos else in todays hip hop life all that people think about is creating funky stuff that attracts quick attention. Will check your other videos shortly. Nice work.

By the way this is Salman on whose pic you commented in flickr. Got to this video from your profile :)

  • What happened to all the female revolutionaries of India's glorious history? And what a bunch of hypocites! So many revolutionaries they showed were not champions of Peace, they fought for our freedom, not begged for it. And to see people like Veer Savarkar, Chandra Shekar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru, Sukhdev, Subash Chandra Bose, all in the same segment with Gandhi is wrong since Gandhi betrayed each and everyone of them, also he stole so much of Tilak's original work and efforts. Misleading

  • without those revered women freedom fighters.

Margriet you are probably the first person to have pointed out this .. thnks for seeing and liking it .... regards Humayunn
