Danny Kaye presenting Joe & Eddie performing, "Children Go". (arranged & adapted by them). I was there! They brought me along for moral support. Ha! As if they needed it. THEY WERE GREAT!
I lived and worked at Doug Weston's Troubadour from 1962-1969, and I can say that Joe & Eddie was the most dynamtic duo that ever played the club. Joe was killed in a car accident, August 6,1966. Joe is the one on your left singing tenor, off time, on time and weaving around Eddie like three gospel singers.

  • They are the most overlooked artists in all of musical history. They sing with all of their hearts. I found them by way of a friend inheriting his dad's records, I picked up the first one I saw, made fun of how I thought it would be, and then proceeded to be overcome with the finest live singing performance I have ever heard. Every song they do is the absolute best version in existence. It's heart breaking to have found out how they slid into relative obscurity. The Kingston Trio can bite it.

  • Amazing!

  • I was MC at the Inquisition in Vancouver when they appeared there. One of the best acts we ever had, and we had everyone. In order of importance, they were reliable, on time, and modest. And, of course, great entertainers.
