I've built this gaming table. I plan to use it for poker, Warhammer, and DnD. There are six fold out desks on each of the sides that create a play area for players to keep books and reference sheets. There are two fold out dice rolling areas. The top will be covered in poker felt (nylon velvet speed cloth) for card games. The top is removable and underneath is a 6x4 Warhammer playing area. In each corner are two cupholders that slide out. The table was constructed by my Dad and I using hickory wood. I still need to fill a few gaps in the wood joins and then stain and varnish the table. I also need to cover the removable surface in foam and felt still.

If you want to build your own here's a google sketchup model of the table:

  • Awesome! That is such a luxurious table. Just one question: Can you take t a part for storage or transport?

  • @OrsusZoktavir It separates into two pieces by removing 8 screws. The frame/legs on the bottom come off of the top 6 inches of the table, very easy. I'll need to separate it to get it through my door into my apartment.

  • That table is awesome wish i had a blueprint of that 1

    Nice job there buddy

  • @kvarntobben I have a google sketchup model! I added a link in the description.

  • they dont make any money on those tables. That's how much it costs for 15 guys (in the USA) to turn solid Black Walnut into a engineered functioning piece of furniture. It may be out of many people price range but its not absurd.

  • Wow what a blatant ripoff of the GC tables. I guess that's what you can afford, Plywood and pine. Looks like none of it is heat treated or by-linear laminated.

  • Nice work, I'm sure it will provide you years if gaming fun.

  • AAH! Now I've got drool all over my shirt! And since when have there been 3D videos on YouTube?

But that is one magnificent table.

    Respect

  • That is a great table, man after my own heart.

I like to build to my needs as well, if you could buy a table like this it would cost a fortune.

Could also include a Subbuteo pitch :)

    Nice upload
