Satriani once said only about one 8th of all the music he writes ever gets released what i would give to listen to the rest of his music.

@axeg Right, it is my opinion, but it is a Fact that most of his music is technically brilliant as far as its employment of modes, scales, and tempos. Anyone who ever listened to "Building The Church" would see that.

I sincerely apologize if I've offended you. This was not my intention. I was looking into the music theory within the context of their lead melody, rhythm, and tempo. One is more technical than the other, at least generally.

But hey- it's all about the opinion of the audience.
