Watch Peter from New Mexico jump the Animas River at Silverton Mountain Ski Area in Colorado. Peter has three nice jumps and then his luck goes south -- a big time biff onto the hardpan -- ouch!! knocked out and sent to the hospital -- hope you are OK Pete! Nice Show

Never ride if jumping from greater height,wear a full face helmet.

Honestly he pressed his luck and he payed for it at the end, first two jumps were great though.

Who the hell wouldnt ride with a fullface helmet on a stunt like that? A good faceplant and the skin on your cheeks will be torn off as your face slides across the dirt. Not good at all, I think he learned his lesson =(

now im going to go and get a full faced helmet or something, does it protect your neck a little bit? do u think i should get one, if if the jumos i do arent gnarly...post me a comment

Helmets do nothing for your neck. Go to a motorcycle shop and get a neck protector. They range from a simple padded collar, to a serious $300 neck restraint device. I suspect mtn bike protection makers have something like this moto gear now. Wear it when going big --- save your neck/cervical vertibra!
