Tywyn Beach, Sea & Sea Defences

Tywyn is set close to stunningly beautiful Welsh landscapes on the south side of Snowdonia National Park.

I like to spend time in this Mid-Wales area sketching or just looking. I also love to see the different moods and colours the sea and sky show themselves in, not just on different days but within a day, and even within an hour.

I love the way the sun makes the sea seem silver or gold. I'm especially enchanted by the wide variety of greys of the sea and sky.

Tywyn has been, and is still undergoing work on new sea defences. Below is a link for a an excellent video story of the work.
