@NautyKnight I can definitely see what you mean. While I'm happy to know you teach your children to respect the opposite sex, it's not taught to every child unfortunately. If every parent were as good as you or my parents or your parents, we'd never have this problem, but unfortunately that's not the case everywhere in the United States. But you're right, girls shouldn't hit boys just as much as boys shouldn't hit girls. I show every man the same respect that he shows me.

@HAC103191 - Are you saying that father's and mother's aren't, or haven't been, teaching this to boys for centuries now? Most boys are taught to never hit girls and to respect women, yet I wonder why society seems to hold a double-standard about girls hitting boys and respecting men. Hell, it's almost encouraged for girls to hit boys today.

@NautyKnight Just teach your son to respect women and he'll be fine. I don't go around pointing at men and say "Rapist!" randomly throughout my day. Rapists are rapists, not all men.

@HAC103191 - Of course I'd never want my daughter raped. I'd kill any man or woman that hurt her. But I have a son as well and I don't want him to grow up in a Salem Witch Hunt society in which every male is seen as a potential threat to women's security that must be caged away like an animal, or put on a restrictive curfew, or put to death for simply being a male. What can society really do that doesn't trespass on the civil freedoms and rights of males in regards to this issue?

@NautyKnight If that's truly your view I cannot sway it. Just realize it could someday be your daughter. That's what 'feminists' fight for. It's not nearly rare as you think it is. I'm not here to force my opinion on you. Just to inform. If you don't believe the FBI or RAINN, then I feel it's impossible to educate you until it happens to someone you care about like it did to me. Have a nice day.

@HAC103191 - But I think rape is talked about WAY too much anyways. Seems like feminists are just exploiting a very rare and polarizing it to the extreme. It's no wonder why they do this. It's generally a male against female crime. But I think that feminists are harming ALL men in society by over exposing a very rare crime and using it to vilify men as a whole in the public's perception. I can't even have my daughter sit on my lap in public because of how it will be perceived. Ridiculous!

@HAC103191 - The FBI doesn't really know how much false reporting there is. That's because women are lying. There's been men serve years and years in prison before a woman comes forwards and tells the truth and then the man is released. Then she's given a very short sentence for lying. Just happened this last summer in two separate cases I read about. The FBI can say 8% but that's only based on the ones they've caught or who came out and told the truth. How many are lying? A lot more probably.

@NautyKnight That's not really how statistics work. 99% of rapists are men, but that doesn't mean 99% of men are rapists. According to the FBI around 8% of rapes are false reports, but according to most other sources the stat is closer to 2%. These aren't feminist statistic, they are just statistics. Go ahead and look them up.
