On Friday May 20th 2011, Xavier College banded together to shave their heads and raise funds to support Jack Lloyd (Year 12 Xavier College) and a foundation that will be set up in his name. More info on this soon.
A Group of Aboriginal Dancers (Red Flag Dancers) that Xavier College had supported with funds and clothes also visited us at Lunchtime and performed a dance dedicated to Jack.
Over $8900 was raised on the day, not even including the overwhelming response that we received from other schools such as Loreto Mandeville Hall and Caufield Grammar School. We thank these schools and all that donated for their generosity and awareness.
