I've slept on a hardwood floor for 10+ years - I'm not a student (I got up a few times)
In recent weeks I got pain - three inches below my hip joint on the outside
I read of - hip bursitis - I'm doubting that is it - maybe a tear
Hurts when sitting Indian-style / getting out of a car, not when walking or chair sitting, no noticeable swelling
