Ike and Tab's Love Story

I have to give a huge 'thank you' to Kim and Gab, who contributed so many ideas and gave me so much inspiration when writing these lyrics. Thanks also to Will and Andrew who also chipped in their thoughts =)

Tabitha and Ike (especially Ike, since I know you don't really like Taylor Swift!); I hope you enjoy this song dedication. May your new life together be filled with love, happiness and harmony =)

Lyrics:
It was online when she first saw him
2003; Tab and Gab were trying to set him up
With another giggly friend of theirs...
Tab would make prank calls, and make fun of Ike
The more she spoke to him the more she'd find they're alike
Their love would grow... and little did she know...
That they'd be going out, that he'd become a Christian
That they'd leave each other notes behind the Church's kitchen
That he'd call her every day to hear her voice, and to say "good night"

One day he said:
"Tabitha, I'll take you somewhere we can be alone
The Botanic Gardens we talked about it on the phone.
I'll pick you up, just give me your address
I'd love to take you out Tab, baby please say 'yes'."

And she snuck out to the city to see him
He'd buy strawberries from his work, she'd be there to receive them
Every time... And she would never have to pay a dime...
And little did she know that he'd become her chauffeur
That they'd run out of their minutes talking on the sofa
That they'd spend some time apart but eventually become re-united...

When he said:
"Tabitha I think - we should give this thing another go
Come with me to ARIA, tell your mum I said hello
Since you've been gone, my mind was just a big mess
Give me another chance, baby please say 'yes'."

And one day when she came home
Shaped in a heart were petals on the end of her bed
A note that said "get ready. A car will get you at 4:45PM"
And that night he took her to the places that they shared their special moments
Back to where it started, added candles for the ambience
She had a blindfold, didn't know what to think
Then he opened up an iPhone box and pulled out a ring and said:

"Marry me Tabitha, we'll never have to be alone
I love you and thats all I really know
I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress
It's a love story, baby just say yes
I've finally found someone who makes me feel complete
