@jephboy You're very lucky. I had a new cooler attached to my card (Removing the old) and the problems gone now. In may case, the fan was the problem.

Got the same card. It's really annoying. I does it only on graphically intense 3D games and will actually stop (immediately) if I tab out, pause, or exit the game. This confirms it's a graphics card issue. I suspect either the power supply isn't delivering enough juice or the card gets hot and the fan is ramping up, but more likely the first. I don't have the budget to replace the powersupply just yet, but let me know if you manage to figure it out or fix it.
