  • @dmacdots That's really odd - I've never had any problems myself - is it the adhesive that's failing - or is it pulling paint from the wall? - maybe get in touch with whoever you bought them from - or contact 3M directly?

  • @BF69000 - thank you for the reply. The frame doesn't weigh more than 6 oz. At first I used 2 of the heavy velcro strips on the top. That didn't work. Then I replaced the strips on top and added two to the bottom. That didn't work either. I am at such a loss! I successfully hung a clock in that bathroom for 5 years! Same paint too so that's why I don't think it's the semi gloss paint that is preventing the strips to stick well enough.

  • @dmacdots How heavy is the frame? Maybe try multiple strips to share the weight...

  • I am not a happy camper right now! I have been trying to hang a 12 x 12 square canvas frame without success. It keeps falling off the wall after hanging for 30 minutes. I've cleaned the wall with alcohol as instructed. What am I doing wrong???
