The Worlds Best Tandem Skydive Video?

Discover what happened to me (and 2 pals) on 24th July 2010 when we made our first tandem skydive from 10,000ft.

The freefall event of 2010 should have taken place 23rd July, but got called off due to low cloud cover. I can't tell you how frustrating it was to have psyched myself up for my first tandem skydive, only to have it pulled as a result of the conditions not being right to jump!

It wasn't the first time either. The previous attempt was scheduled for late June but that got pulled too. As a result of that first stoppage, the event gained more publicity. More marketers got on board and more money was pledged for charity, So all in all it wasn't such a bad thing.

After everyone had left the Fenstanton Travel-Lodge on the morning of the 24th and were heading back home, Phil Henderson, Dean Hunt and myself were eating breakfast in the Little Chef next door - cursing the glorious weather we now had.

As a long shot, We rang North London Parachute Centre on the off-chance of getting a slot that day and much to our surprise, we were offered a place if we could get down there sharpish and re-register.

You couldn't have got us out of that place quick enough! I mean come on, Phil had travelled from Glasgow, Dean from Brighton, and my pad was back in Manchester, so it was a real blessing.
