Brandon Roy does this jab and go very effectively. He doesn't even have to have a crossover dribble to get by his defender with this move.

attack the feet of the defender, this move isn't very effective if you dont turn the corner on your defender. This allows the defender to recover. If he's behind you he is chasing. If you just step by him like these kids are doing, he could easily get a hand up on the jumpshot
