Thanks. Body is from a toy grade onroad RC made by New Bright. Discontinued. sometimes you find them in stock at target/walmart/etc type stores or online. currenly I think this body is still available with a boat and trailer but is costly ($70 vs $35 for just the truck).

Did you extend the chassis to fit the body?

@DefenderTDBlack -Not at all. The wheelbase on the Range Rover Sport (and also the LR3, both by NewBright) are right at 10.5". That's the long wheelbase setting on the cc-01 chassis (like used for Touareg). You just have to unbolt the rear axle/links and move them back 1", remounting them in the provided mounting positions. You do need to sort a new driveshaft though-either one from the Touareg or make one from traxxas half shafts.

where did you get that body?, and what sort of chasis is it?

@huugie14 -That body is from a toy grade RC made by New Bright. When these Range Roger Sport bodies came out they weren't readily available so there are few of them around. I'm actually hoarding 1.5 bodies for spare parts, lol. When I came across the extras I had to jump on them. They're still available in Europe (as seen on Amazon.co.uk) but not in the states. This chassis is a Tamiya CC-01, running a 4:1 gear reduction as well as a 55t motor. Tires are custom too, hybrid tires.

This truck has been in my hands for the past (5)? months, something like that. It is pretty badass, needs a bit more weight to it, but is still a good rig as is.
I have a video in my profile of it in action in the snow (Something the CA guys know little about) Haha.

I'm glad you're enjoying it Tom. Definitely needs more weight. For some reason this one ended up lighter than my LR3. Weight in the wheels helps the suspension articulate better too. Digging the snow runs...
