Yes, I choose to put off destroying this country until tomorrow. Acting now is suicide (or genocide) today. What I am saying is that by this guy's own logic, we should do nothing. Column A is guaranteed destruction but Column B has a 50% chance of success. If you want to make the case for doing something about global warming then find a better line of reasoning than this guy's. Find one that is logically consistent.

Picking Column A results in a 100% chance that we will have major problems. It will ruin the economy whether we reverse global warming or if it is a non-problem. Column B results in only a 50% chance that we will have major problems (Due to global warming being real and doing nothing)

Column A is playing Russian roulette with all bullets in whereas column B only has half the bullets in the revolver.
