Siri & Obi-Wan - Run

Ever since I've read the last chapters of "Secrets of the Jedi" listening to this song I wanted to do a video to it, dedicated to Obi-Wan and Siri.

Obi-Wan remembers his time and life with Siri, how much he loved her and how he lost her.

Note: I tried to cut Obi-Wan in almost all Ewan scenes because I didn't want it to turn out into a the Island video with some Star Wars scenes between.
The video's a bit older and I redid some scenes.

I'm a huge SW fan, thought I knew it all, but I saw this vid & had no idea who Siri was. Tracked down Secrets Of The Jedi, almost didn't read it since it seemed aimed at teens, but gave it a try & was turned on to possibly the best Obi story I've ever read. Especially how it ties the "forbidden love" theme from Qui to Obi to Ani.

I'm a guy too, not into romance usually, so I'm amazed how much I enjoyed this . Would have never read it without inspiration from your vid, LadyB.

@jimmerspy It makes me happy to hear something like this :) I'm glad you enjoyed the book. For my taste I was sad not more happened between them though it was more realistic. Both are very dutyful Jedi and wouldn't just give in to their feelings. Qui-Gon and Anakin were much more alike and more emotional than Obi-Wan, it's more his character to easily put his feelings aside.

It's kinda sad that around 3 years ago, I barely knew what youtube was...but around that time, this was one of the first youtube videos I saw and I absolutely fell in love with it then, and now, it's even better. Scratch that, this is amazing! Obi-Wan and Siri had such a tragic/beautiful story and this video/song conveys their relationship perfectly. This video is absolutely amazing and you even more amazing for making it. :) :) Excellent job and beautifully wonderful video. :) :)

Sometimes when I watch old videos I loved I'm sad because I don't feel the same I used to and therefore can't fully remember everything. I hate what they did in the clone wars, them pairing Obiwan and Satine- Everytime that episode came I'd turn it off cuz it really pisses me off!!! It's Obiwan and Siri, that's how its meant to be!!!! Although Siri's death was tragic and made me cry :'(

@KeybladeWielder12 So feeling with you! Satine is so OOC for Obi-Wan! The story with Siri is so much more in character, with them deciding the Jedi are more important and never living their love.

Obi-wan went through all of Anakin's stuff and more (save for the loss of limbs) but he never fell to the darkside. Siri Tachi and Obi-wan Kenobi were a better couple than Padme and Anakin anyway

For Fandom, and a giant worship of this pair this has got to be the most beautiful video on youtube. And because Ewan Mcgregor is one of my favorite actors with the island being my favorite of his films and scarlett was just gorgeous in that movie. I bow my head to you. Simply, THANK YOU!
