A few words between a Rays & Pink Stockings fan

Tension was a little bit high last night @ the Trop! here's a Rays fan taking no crap from a Pink Stockings fan. I applaud this Rays fan because he was half the size of the Sox guy! It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog! Little did this Sox fan know, but one wrong move and he was getting beat down by a posse of Cowbellions1 they did end up shaking hands and enjoying the game which lasted 13 innings1 rays fan enjoyed the game just a bit more Rays 4 sox 2 Go Rays!

You know, if it wasn"t for the Sox and Yanks fans, you Tampa idiots wouldn't even have a team. You wouldn't make enough revenue to keep the team in town. As it is, you may still lose the team to another city, because you have horrible attendance. The lowest priced ticket in sports, and YOUR attendance sucks. The Rays are putting a quality product on the field and you won't even go to the games. We'll see how much trash you talk when your team becomes the Vegas High Rollers, lol.

Are you talkin about me? cuz you better be clear as to who you are talking to ......... I can only speak for myself but I am a full season ticket holder and have been for 3 seasons, I not only go to approximately 78 home games a year and take a road trip annually to watch Rays games , on top of that I do radio, television spots & newspaper interveiws & all at my own expense of time and money.

I do all this in the hopes of getting people to either take interest & notice what a great product the Rays Organization is putting on the field or in hopes that people here will hate what I do because its against the norm of "baseball fans" & get excited about hating the obnoxiousness I create & get excited about trying to make me disappear. I make videos & attend Rays fynctrions as well as non Rays functions again in hopes of people asking why & whats wrong with this guy?

What does he do this for? All in hopes that they will discover the joy of baseball. I have been around before the Rays went to the series & were in last place and I will be around even if they end up in last place again so if you are referring specifically to me thenyou couldn't be more dead wrong. @Bowzer1366 the sox fan was just doing what most fans of good teams do. as a phillies fan i can relate. its called busting balls. sox fan was totally in the right, all he was doing was talking baseball and the other guy got pissy and took it personally. thats what going to the game is about. having fun. busting balls and talking baseball with people who don't always agree with you. no reason to try and fight em. stupid guy who's obviously not a real fan of baseball in general.

@theschlamer Hey my friend, first off I want to say I agree with you about us Rays fans need to show up. Unfortunately, until thy get out of that crappy abaondoned airport hanger in the middle of nowhere, people won't show up...as far as Red Sox fans go, hate to tell you, but a majority are like this guy. Red Sox fans are the most obnoxious fans I have ever witnessed. Living down here and going to games for over 5 years and witnessing it first hand, it is no wonder the Sox are hated so much.

As a Sox fan, let me just say the guy in this is being an ass, and I hope not all sox fans are seen as being this bad. However, the Rays fans do need to show up and support that team. As much as I hate the rays, they do make the east a much more competitive division. And as for the fights and brawls at these games, why? It is just a game, and acting like a dick does nothing to help the team, or even yourself.

How the only reason why we are still around is because of Red Sox/ Yankee's fans... And may be that's true for the most part... But there are still Ray's fan's that are passionate about the team. And we believe in them... Another reason why we have low attendance is because some people in the area can't afford the price of the Ray's tickets... I mean we all aren't Businessmen... Im sorry... I love the Tampa Bay Ray's I have gone to games since I was 6... I support the team! I hate how some fans can't control themselves (Like most of the Red Sox vs. Rays and Yankee's vs. Rays games i've gone too...)
