A taster of the gorge walk that we run at Dinas Rock, Pontneddfechan, in the Waterfalls area of the Brecon beacons National Park, Wales.

The gorge is about 4 minutes from Cardiff, Swansea and Brecon so central for most accommodation locations.

Gorge Walking can be known as Canyoning or Ghyll Scrambling but these terms refer to something a little different to the activity available at Dinas Rock. Here the gorge is a reasonably sized river with deep water pools, so plenty of opportunity for traversing, scrambling and jumps.

The highest jump that we offer is at Loonies Leap and this is 20 feet.
