My best friend and I are the cantors for this song in our school thanksgiving mass at Corpus Christi next week
-
i never sing at mass. our songs and our whole approach to music is boring and embarrassing.
-
We've just started singing the opening Alleluias as Gospel acclamations at church. Absolutely love'em :)
-
@DofSproductions Liturgy isn't rooted in fun or boring but prayerful
-
1979 was a great year
-
where I can get the scores of hallelujah?
-
@DofSproductions One could say Latin is boring.
-
@Kythos Its a no brainer that they would use this as the Gospel Acclamation as this is why it was written! This is the Gospel Acclamation from Christopher Walker's setting 'Celtic Mass'.
-
If I have to be at Mass (adoptive family reasons [I am a Bapist, who was born Jewish adopted and rasied Catholic]), this is one of my favourite Mass settings. Christopher Walker is gifted.
-
Boring, where's the good ol' Latin at?
PRAISE JESUS!!

I sure enjoy this hymn. I sing it at evening mass at the chapel at Aquinas College, and I feel excited each time. :)
