The 1991 Ringo Lam film Prison on Fire II, starring the great Chow Yun-fat, contains one of the most hauntingly beautiful contemporary Chinese melodies ever written, 希盼得好夢, unofficially translated as "Hoping for Good Dreams."

For those who read Chinese, the lyrics are posted at my blog, Electric Shadows
