Hey guys. Frusciante used a capo for the recording of Under the Bridge. The reason why he doesnt use a capo during live performances because staff members back stage gives him his second '62 fender stratocaster that has been tuned down 1 whole step so he could play with out a capo on stage. He does this with Californication too. This is why he plays either californication or under the bridge back to back at most concerts. I know this for a fact because I had VIP passes at Slane Castle in 03.

@vevosucks28 THANKK YOU!!!

Keith Richards has always used a capo, it's cool, no harm done. If you got a stick up your butt concerning how to play music, you really shoulda taken up Classical, not rock n roll.

Shit! (How to Play "Under The Bridge" on the Guitar for noobs) :P
this song is hard to play, if the very first moment you touched a guitar, you go play other music, not that!
