The clubs need Vova. Great video, Jason and Vova.

He's saying that when you're on a chair you can't move, but Vova is walking all over the place :P

so what about Vova's 7 balls montage video?

at 4:38! Vova is moving his feet anyway :D

I love the idea that Vova shouldn't get the clubs because he doesn't need them. Presumably because he already has 7.
So give them to other guy. No wait, he has 7 as well, I saw them all in his video entry. So don't give them to him either.
Hang on, I'll try and find someone who entered the 7 club competition who doesn't have 7 clubs...I might be some time.
Then again, since Vova is better and more well known, he must be super rich so can buy his own, right?

I like this video very much.
lighten up a bit, hey? it's getting a bit ridiculous, this being better-than-Anthony stuff. To make sure you're really in control, you might narrow the rules to juggling 7 clubs blindfolded. So get over it, and don't bring your own great accomplishments down by allways referring to Gatto. Cheers, and thanks for your work.

@dirkverelst I don't believe anyone said anything about anyone being better-than-Anthony here. Juggling requires visual tracking and motor responses as well as dexterity. To juggle blindfolded would be taking a common element of the skill away as opposed to isolated endurance which only proves you have mastered all the common elements.

Wouldn't true isolation be better represented by just juggling on the ground without taking a single step? You can still move on the platform (small steps were taken in the video), so it doesn't seem like it's pure isolation. Make it easy and just say that you have to juggle like your feet are cemented in the ground, and if you move your feet, then you're done. Anyway, just an opinion about the way isolation is structured in this contest.

@saltzjoe10 Isolated combat is designed to give you a 1.5' x 1.5' of space to work in. Jugglers are less likely to take a step when they're on a chair or platform than if they're on the ground. And to the viewer it's a lot more obvious if they're elevated.

@worldjuggling Yeah, I knew visually it's more appealing, dramatic, and practical to have them juggle on a chair or platform. But, the platform seems easier than a chair or being "cemented" on the ground like my aforementioned example, because the platform allows for small steps. Technically, not taking any steps would be the most telling of "good throws" during isolation. Just a thought since this type of sport juggling gets so technical, so it brought out the technical analysis side of me.

@saltzjoe10 Small steps as the ones that can be taken on a platform can also be taken on a chair. Both prevent constant movement in the same direction and both encourage the competitor to retain their centered position. The competitors were allowed to choose for themselves whether they wanted a chair or platform provided the dimensions remain the same.
