Because it looks cool. That's how the loot system works in GW, and I think it's great because it satisfies the collector's urge to have really cool and unique items, without making the PvP unbalanced due to inequivocal weapons. Hence, the game is more about skill than gear. And if people are willing to put the time/money/plat into getting one, why not?
