Virginia Range Horses under seige. The Nevada Department of Agriculture intends to quickly remove 1200 horses - the whole herd - and send them to livestock sale where they can be sold for slaughter. Help. Call or write Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons and protest.

if i lived in the U.S i would do anything to help the wild mustangs but if i can still help just say :) i am from the U.K tho :/

@LoveMyMojo95 In britain if you put a horse up for slaughter, the owner/owners only get £100! i don't know about other places but £100 isn't worth a horses life!

Do pigs and chicken need protection from farming and food insdustries?
Stop buying pork, beep, chicken, eggs and milk when you protect the horses alone.
Why don't you protect cats and dogs as well?
How about human beings in the world when you give them bombs instead of breads?

figures! BLM continuing to put an end to wild mustangs who don't deserve it! Horses seem to be in fine health but BLM says they are in danger and the horses are shipped off to slaughter! BLM was given the right to control the mustang population to keep the wild horses alive! That their responcibility and yet we are having to protect these horses from the agency that was established to help save them! Way to go BLM (sarcasm)!
What can I do to further help protect these horses?

I can't believe this country is still allowing to kill horses for human consumption in Mexico, Canada and in Europe.

Horse slaughter shouldnt be legal anywhere! Its not fair to the horses! People just keep taking them out and carelessly getting rid of them just so they can have their stupid unneccessary buildings! Its not fair and horses were there first! Just like people forcing horse fights and wild horse rodeos! There should be some serious penalties for stuff like that! PROTECT THE HORSES!

Why do humans feel the need to remove and eradicate the animal species, bit by bit, they are destroying whatever they can, their lust for cruelty is beyond belief, and only when they are near extinction do they intervene to save, contradiction at it's best
