I'm Back!. 11 month Gastric Bypass Update

Welcome back!! I have been thinking of you lately and wondering how you were doing. Congratulations on "onederland".

I too have had people tell me that I am getting too skinny. I usually tell them my weight and ask them if that is a weight they would be satisfied weighing. It must be that they are so used to seeing us fat that it is hard for them to adapt to the new us.

You look wonderful...... welcome back again!

Oh and people keep saying that I am too skinny, too. I never know what to say to that. I think they are just so used to seeing me "huge" that I appear too thin. Funny, I still see myself much larger than I actually am. I go to the store and hold up a blouse and say to my husband, "that will not fit." He persuades me to try on and voila! It either fits or is actually too big. LOL

You look great! I can so relate to you every time. I went to an amusement park recently but the lines were so long I did not get to try it but we have plans to go back soon for my first roller coaster ride in 30 something years. We are neck and neck! I am at 192.8 and have set my goal for only 175 because I have so much skin, but you are smaller in size than I am. I am so happy for you. You look so happy.

WOW!! Look at you!! You look GREAT!!!!! You have been missed, glad you are back! I get what you are saying about people having to get use to the new size. When I went back to New Orleans, my family all said I did not need to lose anymore, and couldn't see where...I can see it and know where ; ) but they had not seen me since before the surgery. We have to find that happy place. CONGRATS on Onederland!!!
