These gorillas have to eat almost constantly to maintain their huge bulk. They live much the way we do: they get up at first light, lie around for a bit and then go foraging. They rest about half way through the day and then they do it all again in the afternoon, before making a little den and crashing, as the equatorial sun goes down. Unlike us there aren't many of them left: they are a critically endangered species. The rangers and staff of Virunga National Park are doing what they can to protect these animals but they need help.
