  • As a Mormon Jew who father is Jewish, so I'm not a Jew by Jewish law. I was raised and baptized as a Mormon.

I think Mormonism needs Reform Mormonism.

  • @RuvenYisrael I disagree. Ketubot commanded jews not to take Israel by force, and they didn't. Britain did, which also means it wasn't a rebellion against the nations(also ketubot 11b). And your comment that "Palestinians used to get along with us" only makes sense if the palestinians you're talking about are native jews. The current "palestians" are recent exiles from the area, and have no identity but their mutual hatred of jews. There's still plenty for moshiach to do when he gets here.

  • @BestLaidPlans We should have not established a state of Israel anyway until Moshiach comes (see ketubot 110b and 111a). If we try "the jews will be killed like the beasts of the field". Is that not what has been going on in Israel? The Palestinians used to get along with us, until the state was established.

  • @JoshuaIsaac89 If you don't like it don't do it as it is as simple as that.

  • Is it true that within Reform Judaism a Jew can be as be as observant as, say, an orthodx Jew? What I mean is, is there flexibility? Though it is thought of as a liberal branch of Judaism there would be nothing wrong with being as observant, as say, a Modern Orthodox Jew? Or somewhere in the middle?

I love your bit size videos too. Judaism on one leg:) I'm impressed!

  • What are you basing this argument on "having a written oral law..."?

  • @JoshuaIsaac89 Judaism evolves, even and especially Orthodox Judaism. Having a written oral law would have appalled early Hebrews, so don't complain about tradition. Without forward thinking, semi-secular Jews there'd be no Israeli state and no one to defend it, as the ultra-observant can opt out of military service. It's the modern Jews fighting for your right to be closed minded.

  • Reform Judaism is the unspeakable corruption of a 3500 tradition that has infinitely more dignity and meaning than the Protestant Christianity it tries to mimic. Reform Judaism is a defacement of Jewish tradition. It should be boycotted.

  • Thanks for the video. Very educational. I love these 30 sec vids
