@carbuncle Actually, the song makes a reference to Solomon and never says "she" or "her" so a Christian reference is more likely. :)

@sarlen77 Solomon is a guy in the bible who wrote poems that represented the relationship between God and Isreal (God's people). The lyrics mean he is waiting to sing solomon's song, which, coincidentally is a book in the bible also known as songs of songs

I agree, a song is all about the listener's interpretation, like a painting is. For me, this is about a relationship with another person, but for someone else it could be about a relationship with God.

@HatchetMassacre I think it's whatever you want it to be. It's not specifically god, since Brightwood is not a christian band. So a relationship does fit more.
